Obituary of Margaret ( Maggie) Joyce Welch

WELCH, Margaret (Maggie) - Passed away with her loving family by her side on Sunday, October 26th, 2014 at the Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 83. Beloved wife of Edward for 60 years. Cherished mother of Cynthia (Don) Sandison and Paula (Scott) McNeaney. Loving Grandma of Scott, Cameron and Julia. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to all the staff at 4 West, CCU, Hotel Dieu- Shaver Hospital, CCAC and especially Margaret's PSW Cathy, for all their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, October 29th from 6-9p.m. As per Margaret’s wishes, there will be no service. Memorial donations to Hamilton General Foundation-Heart Function Clinic would be appreciated by the family.
