Obituary of Helen Ida Stinson

STINSON, Helen Ida- Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 8th, 2014 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Jack (1992). Loving mother of Robert (Janet) and the late Marj 2002 (Jeff 1992). Loving sister of Linda Rankin (Gary).Cherished Gram of Tracy (Ian), Keri (Dan), Meghan (Mark), Kathryn (Mike), Kyle (Steph) and Kellan. Great Gram of Taylor, Hannah, Evan, Marissa, Matthew, Owen, Madison, Olive, Palmer and Jayne. Helen loved sewing, baking, camping and spending time with her family. "Ma" will be fondly remembered by her many extended family members and friends. Helen was a life long member of Knox Presbyterian Church. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday, October 14th from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. A Celebration of Helen's Life will take place on Wednesday, October 15th at 11a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens in Fonthill to follow. Memorial donations to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
