Obituary of Monique Rita Grant (nee Dumais)

Grant, Monique - On Wednesday October 8, 2014 in the presence of her loving family at her home at the age of 65 years. She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband Phillip. Devoted mother of Michael Roberts (Cathy) and daughter Melissa Lewies. Monique was blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her sisters and brother. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Germaine. Monique was a born again Christian who loved her Lord and will be remembered as a loving and caring person. Special thanks to Dr. Sadek and Baher Khowry and all the nurses and home care personnel who attended to Monique's needs. Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Thursday and Friday between 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 9:30am. Burial will follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Catharines General Hospital - Walker Cancer Centre in Monique's honour.
