Obituary of Alan Sidney Rose
ROSE, Alan Sidney
Passed away peacefully on September 30th at Rapelje Lodge at the age of 86.
Beloved husband for 60 years of the late Evelyn.
Loving father of Stephen (Corrinne), John (Jan) and Michael (Kim). Cherished grandfather to Kathleen, Kevin, Deanna, Sophia, Mathew (Meghan), Kaitlin, Alex and Marina. Much loved brother of Muriel (the late Peter) Clarke from Wolverhampton, England, and brother in law of Shirley (the late Ross) Chamberlain and Beverly (Norm) Belliveau. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
Alan was a longtime General Motors employee and retired in 1984.
The family extends sincere thanks to the entire staff of Rapelje Lodge for their care and compassion.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private family inurnment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
Alan's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Friday, October 3rd from 2-4pm.
If desired, memorial donations to Rapelje Lodge would be appreciated by the family.
