Obituary of Cesira (Algisa) Dizio

DIZIO, Cesira (Algisa)- Passed away with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, September 23rd, 2014 at the St. Catharines Hospital at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Querino. Cherished mother of Fermina ( the late Ettore) Marrone and Fred (Jane) Dizio. Loving Nonna of Bonnie (Carlos) Pauls, David (Martha) Dizio and Gabriella Marrone. Great grandmother of Jessica, Jared and Bianca. Special sister of Elisa (the late Giuseppe) Cappachione and Maria (Carmine) Marcella. She is predeceased by her brothers Franco (the late Italia) and Tony and her sisters Iolanda (Domenico), Carina (Querino), Filomena (Giulio). Algisa will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. She was a long time member of St. Alfred's Parish. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, September 25th from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place today at 3p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 26th at 11a.m. at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to St. Catharines General Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
