Obituary of James Harrison McGrath

McGRATH, James "Jim" Harrison - Passed away peacefully, on September 14, 2014 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital. Jim will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Mary Rogers, and her children. Loving father to Tammy Goodine (Rob), and Patrick McGrath (Melissa). Jim will also be remembered by his only grandson, Tyler Goodine; and nephews, Mike and Jim; and niece, Susie. He was predeceased by his mother and father, James and Gwendolyn McGrath; brother, Richard; and sister, Karlene. Jim spent many years working for the St. Lawrence Seaway and the Port Weller Dry Docks. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 350. A public visitation will be held at GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL (585 Carlton Street) on Friday, September 19th at 2 - 4 p.m. A celebration of Jim's life will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel. Memorial donations made to Wellspring Niagara or CCAC would be appreciated by the family.
