Obituary
Obituary of Gloria Anne Hutcheon
HUTCHEON, Gloria "Glo" (formerly MacDonald)
It is with broken hearts we announce that our Mom/Gramma/Gloria (Glo), in her 78th year, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 28th. She had fought and won so many battles it is understandable yet so hard to believe that her body could not keep up the fight this time. The days were filled with visitors and phone calls from children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and very special friends. The room was filled with a beautiful and bittersweet mix of laughter and tears. When she was ready, she did it her way with courage and grace. Peacefully with many of her family by her side, her angels came and scooped her up in their arms and took her to heaven. Her faith was strong and she knew where she was going and who was waiting for her there, the love of her life Noel MacDonald (1981), her loving and devoted Ron Hutcheon (2005) and her beautiful grandson Dylan MacDonald (1991). She will continue to love her family and friends from above as she watches over us. We were not ready but knew that it was time for her new journey to begin. She was loved and will be missed by her many dear friends including her Heatherwood "family" where she spent the last few years "having the time of her life".
Dearly loved by her children, Karen (Marc) Larouche, Heather (George) Hambrock, Dawn (Steve) Grundy, David (Linda) MacDonald, Johnny (Angela) MacDonald, Rick Hutcheon and Michael Hutcheon (Richard), her grandchildren Sarah Swick, Daniel Swick (Ashley), Noelle (Adam) Klassen , Devin (Rachel) Millen, Dayna (Tyler) and Emma Hambrock, Ashley (Eric) Jardin,Tim Snell, Montana Snell (Hayden), Stephanie, Chris and Mark Grundy (Keira), Nadine (Gus) Bobadilla, Heather MacDonald, Jim Atkins, Cameron (Trish), Megan and Kali MacDonald and Jennifer Hutcheon, and her great-grandchildren Ryder, Bryn and Sawyer, Mila, Madelyn, Blakely and Wellington. Survived by sister Gail (Andy) Noseworthy, brother Grant O'Reilly, and her many nieces and nephews.
A loving thank you to Mom's angel Annie Lorenzo and special thanks to Dr.'s P. Zuliani, Campbell (St. Mike's), and Nolan, and nurses Tina and Kathy for their gentle care and compassion.
