Obituary of James Gadd

GADD, James Sylvester – October 3, 1940 – July 19, 2014 Jim passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital, Fourth Ave. site, after a brave but brief battle against cancer. Proud grandfather to Abigale and Jordan White, children of Martha White (nee Gadd) and former husband David White. Also, Zachary Gadd- was here with Grampa from his home in Alberta, son of Allan and Theresa Gadd. Also survived by son Paul Gadd and former wife Lorna Mae Gadd of St. Catharines. Niece Dianne Bartlett and nephew Steven Bartlett of Belleville, Ontario. Jim's mother Salomia (Sally) Gadd (97) lives at West Park Home on Pelham Rd. in St. Catharines. Predeceased by his father James R. Gadd and only sibling, younger sister Joanne (nee Gadd), just two years ago. Deeply missed by his wife Winnifred Ruf-Gadd who shared his love for 'happy music'. Perhaps his spirit will keep on dancing in another world ! Remembering Jim….Reach out and 'Be a Friend' to those you meet along the way. A celebration of Jim's life will take place at a later date.
