Obituary of Margaret Miller

MILLER, Margaret (Kuhns) "Peggy" July 14, 1938 - July 18, 2014 Of Niagara on the Lake. Loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Born in Dover, New Jersey. A lover of music, Peggy sang in the Niagara Symphony Chorus and other choruses throughout her life. Peggy was an avid golf player, liked to play mahjong with her friends, and designed beaded jewelry. She also was a volunteer at the Humane Society, Niagara on the Lake Hospital, and at the Chateau Gardens, where she played piano for the residents. Peggy brought joy and laughter to her family, friends, and all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, James Miller; her children, Robert Kuhns and Linda Thorslund; grandchildren Zachary Thorslund and Brenna Thorslund; and stepsons, Chris Miller, David Miller, Peter Miller, and James Miller. A special thank you to all the staff at Hospice Niagara for their compassionate care and support given to Peggy. In accordance with Margaret's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 3-5 p.m. An interment will be held at a later date in New Jersey. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be given to the Lincoln County Humane Society.
