Obituary of Barbara Anne Brindle
BRINDLE, Barbara Anne (nee Haynes) "Mrs. B"
It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of a wonderful wife, mom, Nana, sister and friend, on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Hospice Niagara. She leaves behind to mourn her loving husband Adrian for 47 years. Her daughter Tobi (Nick) Monych and their two daughters Madelyn and Abby, also her daughter Ami and her son Colton. Her dearest and best friend, her sister Marilyn (Ed) Mesesnel of Parry Sound and brother Freddy (Sheila) of St. Catharines. She was the youngest daughter of Bill (1970) and Florence (1992) Haynes. Left to mourn her, her dear brother-in-law James (Joan) Brindle of the U.K. Barb worked at G.M. for 30 years, her remaining 15 years spent in the Forge Eng. Department with "her boys". The family wishes to thank family, friends, neighbours and many co-workers who helped us through this difficult time. Also, a special thank you to the staff of CCAC, Dr. O and Hospice Niagara for their compassionate care and support. In accordance with Barbara's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Wednesday, July 16 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. A private inurnment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Hospice Niagara or to your favourite charity. "I've had a wonderful life"
