Obituary of Helen Maude Danyluk

DANYLUK, Helen Maude Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Niagara Ina Grafton Gage Village, at the age of 92. Helen was predeceased by her husband William "Danny". Loving mom of Norman (Jane) Danyluk, Arlene (the late Paul) High, Linda (Danny) Degraw and Lorraine (Kevin) Warren. Much loved grandmother of Greg, Chris, Jeanette, Graham, Lorraine, Kim, Jason, Nick, Rachel and the late Gordon. Helen also cherished her great grandchildren Heather, Aaron, Vanessa, Jake, Jenna, Frances, Felix, Leah, Sophie, Maggie, Anthony, Owen, Griffin and by her great-great granddaughter Karaleigh. Helen is also survived by her sister Joan Butler and by her brothers Gordon and Raymond Butler. Helen had a wonderful sense of humour that carried her through life and she loved to sing. Helen's world revolved around her family and home. In her days at Ina Grafton, she had many friends and was looked after by the caring staff. Helen's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Helen's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation to follow the service. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Rankin Cancer Run or to McMaster Children's Hospital. "Thanks for the memories, rest in peace. You will be in our hearts forever."
