Obituary of Edward (Ted) Elton Hopgood

HOPGOOD, Edward (Ted) - Passed away with his loving family by his side on Monday, June 9th 2014 at the St. Catharines Hospital at the age of 63. Cherished father of Amber (Cory) Hopgood and April (Jeff) Boudreau. Loving grandfather of Brayden, Nicholas, Aubrey and Gavin. Brother of Tom (Suzanne) Hopgood, Jim (the late Wendy) Hopgood, Barb (Elgin) Kennedy, Carol (Danny) Hopgood, Bob (Cindy) Hopgood and Pam (Don) Manning. Nephew of Joan McClelland. Ted will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Tom and Ada Hopgood. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Brian Chisholm and Ted's many friends at his home where he lived for the past 11 years for all their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Ted's Life will take place at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Saturday, June 14th at 11a.m. Memorial donations to Hospice Niagara would be appreciated by the family.
