Obituary of Sharon Lyn Laine

LAINE, Sharon (nee McEwen) Passed away unexpectedly and surrounded by her loving family and friends on Wednesday, June 4th at the St. Catharines Hospital in her 70th year. Predeceased by her husband Osmo, parents Jean and Ray and sister in law Eila Wilson. Loving mother of Taryn and Kristyn. Much loved sister of Kim (Judy) McEwen, and sister in law of Oiva (Helen) Laine and Roy Wilson. She will be missed by her many family members and friends. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Sharon's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Saturday, June 7th from 6-9pm. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, June 8th at 11:30 am in the funeral home chapel with a private family inurnment at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to a local charity to benefit children would be appreciated by the family.
