I am so sorry to read of Mike's death. We went to Queen's University for 1 year, then also worked together in construction in Calgary Alberta. He was the nicest most kind guy I have known, and his parents were both so kind and welcoming to me when I stayed with them. I am so sorry I have not gotten back to Canada to visit,

Our heartfelt condolences go out to to Keighan and Max, Janine, Debbie and Mike’s other family members. In growing-up in St Catharines, Mike was a fixture and mainstay in our high school group of friends and great fun. He formed part of the influential Masterson and Strathmore Dr. epicenter in our world. A very respectful guy, Mike always brought along his big smile, humble disposition and humor. I’ll always treasure the countless hours spent playing sports, hanging out in school, getting together almost every weekend and traveling on our early adventures.
Mike had an amazing ability to be inclusive, cast his net wide and encompass many friends. He will be sorely missed.

The Harrison family is very sad to learn of Mike's passing. We spent a lot of time together walking/biking to Oakridge, Lady Churchill and SWC. He was also my roommate at Queen's University for a year.
I will remember the fun we had together, his personality and ease of making friends, and his toughness and enthusiasm as a great Bulldog running back.
Sincere condolences from me, Coach Harrison, and the rest of our family who remember Mike so fondly.

To Mikes Family, although I had not seen Mike in many years I was sadden to hear of his sudden passing. Truly, to soon. I knew him in high school and he was a few years older then me, but he had still made an impact.

May Mike’s family and friends be comforted by the outpouring of love surrounding them. Mike’s departure has deeply sadden many of us who were his high school SWC classmates, including the ones, like myself, who lost touch after they graduated 34 years ago. We all remembered a kind soul, who was always encouraging others and was happy when everyone was happy. My memories of Mike will be his big smile wearing a Bulldog football uniform on the fields of SWC.

So sad to hear of Mikes passing. Though I have not seen Mike in a few years, the memories of happy times came flooding back. Mike's awesome sense of humor and his dry wit still make me smile. A good friend and colleague. Our hearts go out to those he left behind, taken too soon. Rest in peace my friend.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Mike's untimely passing, I will always remember Mike's high school spirit at SWC, who could forget the tutu? I had the privilege of being a Bulldog with Mike, I will never forget playing at Ivor Wynne for the first time, Mike got tackled hard on the AstroTurf he bounced right back up and I said to him are you ok, his reply was "no it hurt like hell but this is awesome!"
My condolences to Mike's family and friends.

I went to High School with Mike at SWC. He was always a Champion. He always found ways to make all his classmates feel like they were a friend. He spent that time putting his head down and moving forward. I specifically remember when we were golfing in gym class and went to a golf course for a field trip to play a round of golf. Mike, being the guy he was, on the first time he was actually "golfing" hit a hole in one at Brockland. I have been away for 34 years so have not talked to him since probably 1980. I am sure if he lived life like he lived high school he has always been a Champion. I am sorry to hear of his family's loss.
I wish and Pray his family remember the good times, and that the pain of his loss becomes a celebration of what he lived and accomplished.
