Obituary of Cecilia Riganelli

RIGANELLI, Cecilia Peacefully in her home after a lengthy battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving husband, children, extended family and friends. Cecilia passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014 at the age of 52. Beloved wife and high school sweetheart of Claudio, devoted mother to Nicole (Mark Biamonte) and Patrick. Cherished daughter of Antonio and Giuseppina LaSelva and daughter-in-law of Marisa and the late Nicola Riganelli (2011). Cecilia will be greatly missed by her twin brother John (Tina), sister Pina (Randy) Palleschi, and brother Tony (Nadia), and her brother-in-law Luciano (Paula). She will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends, especially by her best friend Cindy (Pino) Biancaniello. Cecilia worked for Parker Hannifin for over 29 years where she made many close friends. Some of her best memories included travelling on family vacations and spending quality time socializing with family and friends. Cecilia will be remembered for her zest for life and the way she touched everyone's heart. A special thank you to Dr. Giesbrecht and the staff of NHS-Oncology Unit. Cecilia's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. on Tues., June 3, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's of the Assumption Church, 169 St. Paul Cres. on Wed., June 4, at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow Mass.
