Obituary of Addie Langdon

LANGDON, Addie Passed away peacefully while surrounded by the love of her family at St. Catharines General Hospital on Tuesday, May 20th, 2014 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Leo Langdon (1999). Dear and loving mother of Rejeanne, Colette (Edgar) Dostie, Linda, Richard (Ruth) and Roger (Belinda). Cherished grandmother of Allain (Jennifer), Adam (Matt), Louise (Tim), Suzanne (Mike), Adele (Brian), Michael, Angela, Kristi, Christopher, Katie, Kyle, Kayla, Kelsey, Kassandra and great-grandmother to Shawn, Taylor, Kye, Alyssa, Anneliese, Izabella, and Callianne. Dear sister of Jeanette (Peter), Ernest (Muguette). Addie was predeceased by her parents Olivier and Mary-Jane Fournier and 9 siblings. She worked for over 20 years at Linhaven as a registered health care aide. She fought her illness with courage, determination, faith and grace. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at the St. Catharines General Hospital for their tremendous care and compassion for our mother and friend. Family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Thursday, May 22nd from 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Addie's life will be held on Friday, May 23rd at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with a private interment following at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, 2250 Highway 20, Fonthill. While flowers are appreciated, some may wish to consider a donation in her memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
