Obituary of Rene Lauzon

LAUZON, Rene Passed away peacefully at Hospice Niagara with family by his side on Sunday, May 4th, 2014 in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Dorothy for 52 years. Much loved dad of Debbie, Kevin (Pauline) and Cheryl (Lorne) Conway. Cherished Papa of Ashley, Natalie, Jean Paul, Mya and Ava. Rene will also be fondly remembered by his brother, five sisters, and many nieces and nephews. Rene was an active member of the St. Catharines Cribbage league for 55 years, and was an avid bowler. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Wednesday, May 7th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 8th at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation or Hospice Niagara would be appreciated by the family.
