Obituary of Eugene Brunner

Brunner, Eugene Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Beloved husband of Paula for 62 years. Loving father of Henry (Anita), and Ron (Lorraine). Cherished Opa of Ryan (Stephanie), Katrina (Jeff), Kira (Curtis), Kali, and Adam. Great Opa of Tristan, Tyrell, and Alyssa. Dear brother of Lore (and the late Pedro), Ilse (and the late Peter). Brother-in-law to Patty and the late Jacob, and the late Helga and Karl. He will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews and their families. Eugene retired from the Lincoln County Board of Education in 1993, and was a long time member of Club Heidelberg. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his many family, and friends. In keeping with Eugene's wishes no visitation or service will be held. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the George Darte Funeral Chapel. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Eugene's memory for his wife Paula to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family
