Obituary of Saveta (Stella) Brown

Brown, Saveta (Stella) It is with heavy hearts the family of Saveta (Stella) announces her peaceful passing on, Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Loving wife of the late Edward Sidney Brown. Beloved Mom of Donna (Michael Dey), Joanne, Ted, Holly, and Carol (Rodney Jones). Cherished Baba of 8 grandchildren, and 6 great- grandchildren. Long time residents of Terrace Bay, Stella and Edward enjoyed their retirement years in St. Catharines. Stella will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends. Friends may visit at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 10:30 to 11:30 am. A memorial service celebrating Stella's life will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:30. In keeping with Stella's wishes, cremation has already taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
