Obituary of Gunter Anton Lohr

LOHR, Gunter Anton Passed away peacefully, in the early morning of April 4, 2014 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Hilda. Loving father of Gerry (Nancy), Gabrielle, Linda (the late Tom 1999), Monica (George) and Frank. Proud grandpa of 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, with another one on the way. Gunter is also survived by his niece Ursula (Lothar). Mr. Lohr was a long time member of Grace Lutheran Church. A special thanks for the extraordinary care by Dr. Broski and the nursing staff in Dialysis. Funeral arrangements are entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL. A Funeral Service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 213 Linwell Rd., on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 2 p.m. with visitation between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. prior to the service. Interment to be held at Victoria Lawn Cemetery with a reception to follow at the church. In memory of Gunter, donations may be made to Grace Lutheran Church or the Concordia Lutheran Seminary.
