Obituary of Alfonso Limoncelli

Limoncelli, Alfonso With profound sadness we announce the passing of Alfonso on Thursday, March 27, 2014 after a 2 year battle with cancer. Loving husband of Angela for 32 years. Devoted father of Rocky (fiancee Juliana), and Diana. Beloved son of Rocco and Carmela of Italy. Dear brother of Gaetano (Dora), Antonio (Gilda), Maria (Gregorio), Adriana (Gaetano), and Elena (Antonio). Beloved Son-in-law of Filomena and the late Giuseppe Tota. Dear brother-in-law of Giulio, and Felice Tota. Predeceased by his infant brother Lucio (1969). Alfonso will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews especially Carmelina (and Paul), Rocco (and Sabrina), Vince (Melissa), and Michael, great- nieces, great- nephews, and many close family and friends. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all those who were there for Alfonso during this difficult time. Your care, prayers and support are greatly appreciated. Friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 7 to 9 pm. and Monday, March 31, 2014 from 2 to 4 & 6 to 9 pm. Vigil prayers will be held on Monday at 3 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine St. on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 10 am. Entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association in Alfonso's memory would be appreciated by the family.
