Obituary of George Vincent Burton

BURTON, George Passed away quietly and while surrounded by his loving family on Monday, February 24th at Ridgeview Long Term Care Centre in Stoney Creek at the age of 90. He was the beloved husband of the late Mona (2013). Loved father of Brian Burton, Kathy (Jim) Mantini and Jamie Burton. A cherished grandfather of Greg (Michelle) Mantini, Keith (Lise) Mantini, Jayde (Cathy) Burton, Myles (Chevonne) Burton and great grandfather to Joshua, Jessica and Paige Mantini. George's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Sunday, March 2nd from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A service to celebrate his life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, March 3rd at 11:30am with burial following in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. A reception will follow the burial in the Kristen French Fellowship Hall at the funeral home. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
