For me, lots of fond and funny memories of Gord as a teacher, coach and father of my friend. Making me run at track practice even though I only threw Javelin, lending Lloyd that green Chevy so we could all go skiing with only a mild lecture every time. A big part of the Gator spirit and all around great guy
Our thoughts are with you Lloyd, Sandra, Karen and Muriel

Dear Muriel,
I am still in shock to hear about Gord's passing. His kind heart, positive outlook on life and infectious smile allowed him to touch so many lives. He gave so much to his students and Grantham. His keen eye and open heart to recognize and gently guide those of us going through the typical teen ups and downs was much appreciated. Today I am thankful for this as I pass on his teachings to my students. It was so great to run into and catch up with you and Gord in the last year. Our condolences to you and your family.

Muriel, Lloyd, Karen and family,
Please accept our sincere condolences on your loss of Gord. We first met Gord in 1969, when Barb and he taught together at Grantham High School and have "crossed paths" many times over the years in many different situations. Gord was so personable in his interaction and his love to share with the people he met.
We are not able to attend the Celebration of Gord's life but wish we could .. we shall be with you in spirit!
I just learned of Gord's illness a day or so before we left White Oaks for a winter vacation and wished that I could have delivered my good wishes to him, first hand, through Lloyd.
All our good wishes to you!
Barbara & Garry Blain

I went to Grantham when Gord was there and was blessed with the pleasure of getting to know him. He was a very kind man who made everyone feel cared about. He touched alot of lives with his kindness at the school.
The last time I saw Gord was when I was out for a run on the path behind his house, he was gardening in his backyard and I stopped and chatted with him. I had not seen him in years but it was like no time had passed he remembered me and we chatted...he loved to talk to people, always showing a genuine interest in everyone. I'm truly sorry to hear this news, he will be missed but remembered with fondness.

Dear Muriel and family;
Our sincere sympathy in the loss of Gord.
Over the years we enjoyed many good times together and shared lots of laughs as friends and former students of Grantham High.
Gord often shared plants from his lovely garden and he and Rick spent many hours together gardening and golfing. It was such a pleasure to sit outside and view the beautiful yard which he took such pride in.
He was a great person and will be missed and always remembered.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
