Dad,
Words cannot express how deeply sad I am that you are gone. I wish that I could have had the opportunity to spend time with you and get to know you. My mom has told me many wonderful things about you. I missed you growing up........being at my high school graduation and now seeing me as a young adult. You will always have a place deep down in my heart and you will always be deeply missed. I LOVE YOU DAD!

Your funeral is starting, and we're not there. How I wish we had felt it was possible to attend. We are crying and praying and thinking about you. We are saying our final goodbyes alone. I pray you are at peace.

We have heard many stories about when you were a little boy from our mom. Thanks for teaching her so many fun games and tricks to play on each other. Wish we had known you Uncle Leslie.

Avril tells many stories of your camping trips, and all the trouble the two of you could get into. I am sorry we never met.

After all this time to find out you were in St. Catharines, I can

Our most sincere sympathy to the Naismith family. Mary telephoned us as soon as she heard from Avril. We are now living for the time being in North Bay, so will not be able to come down for the funeral. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
