Obituary of Henry "Harry" Thomas Roberts

Roberts, Henry Thomas "Harry" - Peacefully passed on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Hotel Dieu-Shaver Hospital with his loving family by his side at the age of 69. Cherished father of Tom (Andrea) and Trisha Lamontagne. Beloved Papa to Josh (Jessica), Jade, William, Owen and Scott. Survived by his sister Rose Forten "Betts," brother Gordon "Joe" and his wife Ursula "Chris," sisters-in-law Diane and Karen; Geri, Sandy and her children John, Cathy, Richard, Danny and Paul, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by parents Samuel and Hannah; siblings Eddie (Anne), Lil (Dave), Howie, Willie, John "Pogo," Catherine, Sydney "Butchie," and Glenys (Peter); and brother-in-law Pete. Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Saturday between 12-2pm and Funeral Service to follow in the chapel at 2pm. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Niagara or St. Catharines General Hospital Foundation in Henry's honour (Donations will be directed to some medical equipment in the Oncology Department). Private family inurnment to take place at a later date at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
