Obituary of Helen Bernice Romanek

Romanek, Helen It is with great heartache that we share the news of our mom Helen's passing on Thursday January 2nd, 2014 at the age of 83. Mum left our world surrounded by, and feeling the love of her four girls. Cherished mother to Arlene and Sharron, beloved babczie to Brooke (Ian) & Carly (Logan) and the most adoring great babczie to her Hudson and Delilah. Helen was predeceased by her husband Walter in 1990. At her request, there will be no visitation. Cremation will be followed by a private family inurnment at a later date. At this time our family would like to express our gratitude to the 5th floor nursing teams at the NHS St. Catharines site. Your tremendous care and compassion during this most difficult time, provided great comfort to her.... and to us. Mum was a lover of all things furry and four legged. It would give her great pleasure to know that - in lieu of floral tributes, donations in her memory be made to the Ontario SPCA or the LCHS.
