Obituary of Otis Junior Wallace
WALLACE, Otis
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our husband, father, son and brother on Christmas Day, December 25, 2013.
Otis J. Wallace was born on June 13, 1936 in Iroquis, Ontario.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Helen L. (nee Howe). Loving father of Michael (Shelley) of Edmonton and Mark of Alliston. Cherished Grandpa of Kyle (Anna) of Edmonton, and Savanna and Tristan of Alliston, and great Grandpa of Otto of Edmonton.
Otis is survived by his mother Wilda Wallace, brother Dale (Maggie), brother in law Marta (Dennis) Roth of Ridgeway and by his many nephews and one niece.
Predeceased by his father William Wallace (1982).
Otis was a transport truck driver for 32 years at Cabano Kingsway and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch#350.
The family extends sincere thanks to Drs. Lucey and Samosh and their staff for their excellent care over the years.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place.
Mr. Wallace's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL , 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Monday, December 30th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 31st in the funeral home chapel at 11am.
If desired, memorial donations to the Walker Family Cancer Centre or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
