Obituary of Cody Jason Burke

BURKE, Cody Jason It is with heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Cody, while returning home from duck hunting, on Friday, November 22nd at the age of 26. Cherished son of Bob and Barb and big brother of Caitlyn (Thomas O'Malley). Best friend and partner of Jessica Cameron. Much loved nephew of Darlene Maybee (the late Archie), Brad (Betty), Nancy (Ken) Clutterbuck, Larry (Leslee Shoenrath), John Lynch (the late Carolyn), the late Gerry, Ron and Linda Burke. Donald (Nancy) Plain, David (Helen) Plain, Kathy (the late John) Julian, Sandra Fraser and Debbie Plain (Gary Loughheed). Special great nephew of Arnold Burke, Girvan White and Robert Plain and grandson to Gramma Connie. Also survived by his countless great aunts, uncles, cousins and his many friends. Predeceased by his grandparents and his dog Sparkey. Cody recently graduated from Niagara University with an MBA achieving Dean's List Honours in Business Marketing. Cody's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, November 27th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, November 28th at 10am. Cremation will follow the service. If desired, memorial donations to the Big Brothers Big Sisters (of St. Catharines- Thorold and district) would be appreciated by the family.
