Obituary of Russell David Allen

ALLEN, R. D. "Mike" March 25, 1939-November 20, 2013 Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 20th at the Linhaven Home for the Aged at the age of 74. He is survived by his loving wife Sharon and his beloved children Kelly (Kevin) Harley, Michael (Heidi) and Randy (Bettina). Much loved Grandpa to Jeffery, Kyra, Michael, Haydn, Tyler, Briana and Layla. He is also survived by his siblings Donald, Maureen Krawcar and Marcia Jo House and is predeceased by his parents Albert Allen (1954) and Dorothy Vallee (1998), and his brothers Albert and Dennis. Mike was a supervisor and worked at General Motors for 30 years. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Mike's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Monday, November 25th from 10-10:45am. A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11am with an inurnment following in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
