Halowski, Lawrence
Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital. Loving husband of Pauline for 57 years, cherished father to Laurie (Glisho), Michael (Sherry) and proud loving grandpa to James. Survived by sisters Helen & Lena, brothers Bill (Anne), Steve (Jean) & sister-in-law Norma. Brother-in-law to Sister Yvonne, Elsie (Joe), Steve (Lil), Irwin (Barb). Pre-deceased by his parents Peter & Lena and brothers Mike, Matti and Walter. Special thanks to the nurses of Unit D (Acute Stroke Unit), nurse Mike, PSW Troy and Saturday morning friend Tom. Thank you for all your help & support. Visitation will be held at George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Friday November 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, prayers at 7:30 pm. Mass will be celebrated at St. John's Ukrainian Church, 91 Lakeshore Rd. on Saturday November 23 at 10 am. Cremation to follow. Donations can be made to St. Johns Ukrainian Church or Hospice Niagara. Vichnaya Pamyat.
