Obituary of Elda Assunta Crema

CREMA, Elda Peacefully and while surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 12th at the Hotel Dieu-Shaver in her 85th year. Predeceased by her husband Alberto. She will be missed by her sisters, brothers and their families in Italy. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends in Canada. Elda was an avid bingo player at Club Roma. The family extends special thanks to the volunteers of the Canadian Red Cross, and the Doctors, Nurses and staff of the St. Catharines General Hospital and Hotel Dieu-Shaver for their care, kindness and patience. Mrs. Crema's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, November 14th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, November 15th at St. Alfred's Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street at 9:30am. Entombment to follow in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Thursday at 3pm. If desired, memorial donations to the St. Catharines General Hospital or the Hotel Dieu-Shaver Rehab would be appreciated by the family.
