Konstantin Vladianu

Obituary of Konstantin Vladianu

Konstantin Vladianu was born on May 18, 1938 in the little village of Pinzaran, Moldova to Ivan and Alexandra Vladianu. He had four siblings named Peter, Masha, Gregory and Volodia. He married Lidia Labek in 1968 and they eventually had seven children together. Paul, Ivan, Abel, Natasha, Tabatha, Peter and Dina. They saw their middle child Natasha die under suspicious circumstances before she was a year old and it hardened their resolve to do whatever they had to get out of that country. After four years of relentless effort, Konstantin was able to rally enough pressure on the government that, with the help of some miracles also, the family was able to leave on February 1, 1979. They lived in Montreal until about 1982 (?) when they moved to a small fruit farm in Niagara-On-The-lake. After seven years they moved to St. Catharines where he lived for over 24 years. Konstantin's faith in God was the most central thing in his life. He was very involved in the secret underground church, and he was a gifted preacher, blessed with dreams and visions from God which directed his life. He led his family by example in sacrificial giving of his time and resources. he passed away October 19, 2013, ready to receive his reward and finally rest in heaven. Donations in memory of Konstantin Vladianu will go to poor families in Moldova.
