Obituary of Katherine Lillian Rose

ROSE, Katherine Lillian - Suddenly on October 18, 2013 at the age of 55 surrounded by family and friends. Best friend and girlfriend of Rob Lipscombe. Loving mother of Kyndra (Greg), Cherished Gramma to Jordyn. Beloved daughter of William Weaver and the late Barbara (nee Storor), Much loved niece of Ruthanne "Finn" (Jim), Dear sister of Carol, Kelly (Tom), Sharon (Glen), Barb, Ted, David (Linda), and the late Billy "Bull". Predeceased by her husband John. Kathy worked in health care for many years at Heidehof Home for the Aged and will sadly missed and fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews ,cousins and friends. At Kathy's request, cremation has already taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street. St. Catharines. A Memorial service celebrating Kathy's life will be held at Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 350, Port Dalhousie on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 1pm The family wishes to thank the Nursing staff at St. Catharines General Hospital I.C.U. nursing staff for the compassion and the wonderful support that they received while Kathy was in their care. They are all true Angels. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Hospice Niagara would be appreciated by the family.
