Obituary of Mark James Matthews

MATTHEWS, Mark James It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mark, after a long illness, on Saturday, October 13, 2013 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, at the age of 49. Loving father of Melissa (Alex), Joey and Michael (Justine). Proud grandfather of Mason. Cherished son of Marjorie, and dear brother of Angela (Don), Rodi, Jeff (Jillian) and Andrea (Jody) and step-brother of Karen, Sandra and Darlene. Mark will be greatly missed by Lynn and John, and by his furry companion Boo. A special thank you to the nurses in the Dialysis Unit and to Elizabeth and Jackie in the Critical Care Unit at the St.Catharines General Hospital. Mark's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, on Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. -10:45 a.m. A Celebration of Mark's life will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow service. If desired, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation or Kidney Foundation.
