Obituary of Bazyli Gruszewski

Gruszewski, Bazyli "Bill" Passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on September 27, 2013 after a brief illness. Bazyli was in his 89th year. Devoted and cherished husband of Aniela for 59 years. Loving father of Bolek "Bill". Proud grandfather of Karolyn (Steve), Eric, and Dean. Dear brother of Barbara Saczkowski. Predeceased by his parents Florian and Maria, and his brother Arthur. Bill enjoyed his 30 years of retirement from G.M. by spending time with and helping his loving family. Bill will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his many family and friends. Family and friends are welcomed at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines on Sunday, September 29th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. Vigil Prayers will take place at 7:30. A mass to celebrate Bill's life will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, 5 Oblate Street on Monday, September 30, 2013 at 10am. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, donations in Bill's memory to the Canadian Arthritis Society or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
