Obituary of Arthur Dykstra

DYKSTRA, Arthur- Passed away on Tuesday, September 24th, 2013 at the Hotel Dieu- Shaver Hospital at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Jessie for 57 years. Cherished father of Arnold (Linda) Dykstra, Neil (Lynda) Dykstra, Ken Dykstra, Karen (Dennis) Letts, Teresa (Mark) Innamorati, Judy (Mitch) Berard and Janet Colasanzio (Bob). Loving Buumpa of 22 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by Shaggy. Survived by his brother Gary Dykstra and his sister Tina Bergsma. Predeceased by his brother John and Martin Dykstra and his sister Joanne Boverhof. Arthur's joy and passion was spending time with his family, highlighted by their annual Christmas in July celebration. Special thanks to Dr. Arvinte and the staff at the Hotel Dieu- Shaver Hospital for their tremendous care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. As per Arthur's wishes, there will be no service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, (905) -937-4444. Memorial donations to Arthritis Society would be appreciated by the family.
