Obituary of Jacques Gauthier

GAUTHIER JACQUES (Deacon Jack) Passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 7th, 2013, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, at 81 years of age. Predeceased by his beloved wife Julian (2002). Loving father of Anne-Marie Gauthier (Don Damiani), Marjo (Roy) Kinsella, Mark Gauthier (Joanne Dorion) and Jacqueline Gauthier. Devoted grandfather of Michelle (Cliff) Steele, Brian, Joseph and Clare Kinsella. Jack will be lovingly remembered by family, friends and fellow parishioners. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the Sisters and staff of Mount Carmel for their loving care and support. Also to the staff of the Greater Niagara General Hospital for the excellent care received. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at the Cathedral of St Catherine of Alexandria on Wednesday at 10:45 am. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
