Obituary of Stella Constance Nickerson

NICKERSON, Stella (nee Gora) Stella passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side at Linhaven Home on Thursday, September 5th in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband William Harry Nickerson (1980) and her common law husband Frank Pomrich (2006). Loving mother of Lorraine (George) Rigas, and Harry (Debbie), Sharon and Doug (Jane) Nickerson. Cherished Gramma of 14, Great Gramma of 22, Great Great Gramma of 1. Survived by her brothers Stan (the late Donna) and Harold (the late Jeannette) Gora, and her many nieces and nephews. The family extends sincere thanks to the Brock and Merritt Units of Linhaven for all their care and compassion. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Stella's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Sunday, September 15th from 10-10:45am with a service to celebrate her life following in the funeral home chapel at 11am. There will be a private family inurnment at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
