On behalf of the Howlett, Dubiel and Predel families, I extend our condolences for your great loss. I particularly remember Ron for a thoughtful remark during a dark period in my life, followed by an insightful and humourous aside that inspired a lasting smile at a time when they were often difficult to summon and impossible to sustain. The depth and the greatness of his character was displayed so abundantly in this thoughtful gesture which defined the man and his vibrant spirit.
