Obituary of John Mirabella

MIRABELLA, John It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John on Friday July 26th, 2013 at the age of 69, surrounded by his family. Soulmate for 45 years to his wife Maria. Cherished Dad to Vic (Trish) and MaryJane (Jamie) Faulkner. Adored Nonno to Mackenzie, Bianca, Alessia and Colby. Dear brother of Angelo (Lori), and brother-in-law of Joe (Anna) Magnotta, Rick (Sylvia) Magnotta and Domenic (Carm) Stirpe. John will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. John was a member of Club Roma and B.V. Delle Grazie, where he left lasting memories to all that he knew. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Kevin Higgins at the Sunnybrook Head & Neck Cancer Care, and Dr. Janice Giesbrecht and staff at the Walker Family Cancer Centre for their kindness and compassion. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Sunday July 28th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Sunday at 3 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street, on Monday July 29th at 9:30 a.m., with entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Sunnybrook Head & Neck Cancer Care and the Walker Family Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
