Obituary of Mona Burton

BURTON, Mona Dec. 17, 1928 - July 18, 2013 With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Mona Burton. She left us on July 18, 2013, surrounded by her family. She is the beloved wife of George Burton, loved mother of Brian Burton, Kathy (Jim) Mantini and Jamie Burton. A cherished grandmother of Greg (Michelle) Mantini, Keith (Lise) Mantini, Jayde (Cathy) Burton, Myles (Chevonne) Burton and great grandmother to Joshua and Jessica Mantini. Cremation has taken place and family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Wednesday, July 24th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Mona's life will be held on Thursday, July 25th at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Sick Kids or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
