Obituary of Shirley McDowell

McDOWELL, Shirley (nee Cassidy) Passed away peacefully on Monday, July 1st, 2013 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 87. Devoted wife to the late John McDowell (2011) for 45 years. Loving mother to Rick Chatterson, John (Cindy), Jane (Steve) Cummings and Jay (Tracy). Cherished Grandmother to Amanda, Paige, Alia, Michael, Parker and Conner. In keeping with Shirley's wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Thursday, July 4th from 11-11:45 a.m. with a memorial service following at 12 p.m. in the funeral home.
