Obituary of Germain Labelle

LABELLE, Germain (formerly of Smooth Rock Falls) After succumbing to the stress of his surgery, Germain passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013. Beloved husband and best friend of 40 years of Mary. Much loved father of Stephen and Andrea. Dear brother of Clara (Emile) Jacques, Leo (Glenda), and brother-in-law of Richard and Jadwiga. Germain was an avid sports fan and player (hockey, curling, bowling, golfing), and enjoyed working with computers. No matter what life had in store for him, Germain accepted it with humour, and without complaint. He was a man who not only did the talk, but also the walk. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. A memorial mass celebrating Germain's life will take place at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine St., St. Catharines, Wednesday, July 3rd at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.
