Obituary of Hector Raul Camelino

CAMELINO, Hector - After a short and courageous battle with cancer, Hector passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 20, 2013 in his home surrounded by his cherished family. Hector is survived by his wife, Nanda, who was his high school sweetheart, his soul mate and the absolute love of his life. He was an amazing father to his three sons, Gustavo (Patricia), Len and Walter (Melanie) and a playful and doting abuelo to his grandchildren Valencia and Thalia. He also leaves his brother Ruben (Diane) and sister Zulma and his father Nestor Camelino of Buenos Aires, Argentina. And to Mary Brotherston - you are truly an angel! Hector was blessed to know you. Finally, to the nurses in the oncology/palliative care unit at the Niagara Health Services in St. Catharines - you are true heroes. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street on Monday, June 24, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. If desired, contributions to the Niagara Health Services Palliative Care would be appreciated.
