Obituary of Anne Felesko

FELESKO, Anne (nee Kuniski) Passed away peacefully on June 10, 2013 at Henley House at the age of 96. Anne is survived by her son Roger (Emily), her grandchildren Karen, Randy (Tanya) and Kathryn Cormier (Wayne) as well as her great-grandchildren Jesse and Alexandra Felesko and Matthew Cormier. Anne also leaves behind her sister Stella Zurawel of Toronto, as well as her former daughter-in-law Shirley Stanko (Joe). Anne was predeceased by her husband Steve (1994) as well as her sister Helen and brothers Peter, Joe and Stanley. Born in Toronto, Anne resided in Schomberg, Kirkland Lake, Virginiatown and Brampton before moving to St. Catharines in 1995. Anne was a "Life Member" of the Canadian Federation of Business and Professional Women and was a past-president of the Brampton Chapter. The family would like to thank the staff and residents at Evergreen Apartments, Niagara Arms and Henley House for their friendship and care over the past 18 years. Friends and family will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Wednesday, June 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Anne's life will be held on Thursday, June 13th at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. A private family burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
