McLaughlin, James Bowden (Bud) - loving husband of the late Jay (1995), dear father of Timothy of St. Catharines, the late Rick (1985), Debbie and Al Winter of St. Catharines. Dear grandpa Bud of Christopher, Stacie, Tammy, A.J. and Nicole, brother of the late Pat, Norinne Rust of Hamilton, Paul McLaughlin and Cindy Nagy all of Niagara Falls. Bud was a member of St. Julia's Church, was a Jaycee International Senator, Founding Director and Past President of the St. Catharines General Hospital Foundation, veteran of W.W. II serving with Toronto Scottish Regiment in Europe, member of the Royal Canadian Legion Merritton Branch # 138, an active member of the St. Catharines Lawn Bowling Club, Past Commodore and lifetime member of the St. Catharines Boat Club, and retired from Hayes Dana Inc.as Vice President of Human Resources Bud is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. until Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Julia's Church at 10 a.m. Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours Tues. 7-9 p.m. and Wed. 2-4 & 7-9 p.m . Vigil prayers for the deceased will be held in the funeral home Wednesday 7:30p.m.. Memorial remembrances to the St. Catharines General Hospital Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Assoc. would be appreciated by the family.
