Obituary of Biagio Aita

Aita, Biagio It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Biagio, on Saturday, June 2, 2001 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital. 60 years of age. Loving husband and best friend of Lina for over 35 years. Beloved father to Leo & his wife Angela, and Sabrina & her husband Frank Pennacchio. Proud Nonno to Selena, Michael, Andrew, and Maelisa. As the baby of the family Biagio is survived by his 8 brothers and sisters, Leopoldo (Imacolata), Ciro (Roseanna), Teresa (the late Giuseppe), Carmine (Ida), Michele (the late Concetta), Panteleo (Lina), Filomena (Paolo), and Maria (Sam). Brother in law to Bruno (Franca), Vincenza (the late Vincenzo), Concetta (Ottorino), and Luigi (Fiorina). Mr. Aita is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., until Wednesday at 9:00am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church at 9:30am. Rite of Committal will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours Monday 7-9pm and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 7:30pm. Donations to the Hotel Dieu Oncology Clinic would be appreciated by the family.
