Obituary of Rhea Pollard
POLLARD RHEA MARIE (nee Cunningham) Born in St. Catharines to the late Fred and Helen Cunningham. Mom died peacfully at Linhaven, on Sunday May 20, 2001 in her 88th year. Loved Mom of Joan Cormier, Carole Reed and Gerald Polland. Mother in law of Armand (Ed) Cormier, the late Norm Reed and Ann Pollard. Caring Nana of Kim (Ed) Cormier, Linda (Jim) Kretz, Mark (Judy) Cormier, Janine (Rob) Hendriks, Lorraine (Brad) Ford, Sandra Wills, Terry Reed, Lori (Ron) Sokoloski, Kim Hall, Stacey (Paul) Cecchini, Jerry Pollard and nineteen great- grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers Cyril, Murray, Harris (Bud) Cunningham.
Mrs. Pollard is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria on Wednesday at 10:30am. Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers for the deceased will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:00pm. Visiting hours are Tuesday 7-9 pm and half hour prior to service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations to Linhaven Home, Security Door Fund, would be appreciated by the family.
Mom has gone to be young and happy with those she loved.
