Obituary of Mamdouh Nakhla
NAKHLA Mamdouh Brigadaire General Make a joyful noise unto the Lord for this faithful soldier has exchanged faith for sight. Now he stands complete, in the presence of the God whom he loved and served.
Mamdouh was born on May 1, 1932 in Egypt, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 20th, 2001 at Shaver Hospital. Survived by his wife Mimi, son Ihab Wahba at Xerox Canada and his wife Dalia Bishara at NCR; daughter Mervat Wahba at Xerox Egypt. Grandfather of Tony (Anthony) Nakhla in Brampton Christian School, Sherif and Shehab Seleem in Egypt. Brother of Fouzi Nakhla and Liza Nakhla. Uncle of Ralph Wahba at Standard Life, his wife Dr. Nelly Seliman and many other nieces and nephews in Egypt. Brother in law of of Hani Ragheb at the Ministry of Labour, Dr. Salah Ragheb in Vancouver, accountant Samih Ragheb in Mississauga and Dr. Bahaa Ragheb in Ottawa and Nahid and Mohga Ragheb in Egypt.
A funeral service will be held in Queen St. Baptist Church on Friday May 25th at 1:00pm. Interment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. on Thursday from 6-9pm and a half hour before the service at Queen St. Baptist Church. Memorial donations to Light for All Nations would be appreciated by the family.
