York, Isabella Mary (Rankin) Suddenly at her home on Saturday, April 21, 2001. Eldest daughter of the late John and Isabella Rankin, born in Hardgate, Scotland, June 17, 1919. Preceeded by her husband Samuel (Archie) York. Much loved mother of son Brian and his wife Patti. Beloved "Grannie" of Jonathan and Samantha. Survived by her sister Elizabeth (Betty) Legros of Thorold. Preceeded by brothers John, William and Joseph. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. At her request cremation has taken place. Rite of Committal will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery on Thursday, April 26, at 11am. In lieu of flowers take a parent out to lunch.
